Gasthaus Zum Stern in Gollhofen

Cozy country inn with typical Franconian food at fair prices. The carp I ate there and the Schäufele were excellent! It's a shame that there are fewer and fewer such inns.

It was great and it was different times that the children worked with.

The senior boss has a jagged, unfriendly tone that you actually want to turn around right away. The roast pork with dumpling and salad was a disaster. I haven't eaten such a bad roast pork in a long time. The watery sauce was unflavored. Unfortunately, some of my fellow travelers confirmed the exact same thing. So probably not an isolated case. Uncomfortable inside the dining room, but can be related to Corona because there is no more decoration and the whole thing has the charm of a train station hall. So this is where I will no longer organize my trip. It's a shame ... country inns can be different ...

Great service, delicious breakfast and the non-stop hot kitchen is a dream. You can tell that the inn is family-run. You feel very comfortable and receive a very warm welcome. The new rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom resembles a 4 to 5 star hotel. I can only recommend.

First was surprised that they only had a small menu in the afternoon with no vegetarian option, but when asked offered several vegetarian dishes. Food was tasty and not expensive.

We have stayed several times in the Gasthaus zum Stern before and after the new building. We always liked it very much, whether the room and the food were all very good. Who would write something else is a lie. In May we will stay at the Stern again. I recommend this Gasthaus zum Stern in Gollhofen to everyone to stay overnight.

Definitely the first and last time here. The food was not expensive, but it wasn't worth a penny either. Salted soup, meat dry. Everything looked and tasted like ready-made, is probably called convenient in modern German. Who needs that?
